1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Meridian (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Meridian provides AI-powered cost of living data, city comparisons, and relocation advice. Data is generated using artificial intelligence and web search, and should be used as approximate guidance — not as financial or legal advice.

3. Accounts

You must sign in with a Google account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Subscription Plans

Meridian offers Free, Pro (monthly or annual subscription), and Lifetime plans. Pro subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Stripe billing portal — access will continue until the end of your current billing period.

5. Refund Policy

Pro subscriptions: You may cancel at any time. No partial refunds for unused portions of a billing period. Lifetime purchases: Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase if you have not used the service extensively.

6. Data Accuracy

Cost of living data is generated by AI and sourced from publicly available information. While we strive for accuracy, prices are approximate and may not reflect current conditions. Meridian is not responsible for decisions made based on this data. Always verify critical information independently.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: scrape or bulk-download data from the Service, resell or redistribute Meridian data, use the Service for any illegal purpose, or attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls.

8. Intellectual Property

The Meridian name, logo, and service design are our intellectual property. AI-generated city data is provided for your personal use. You may share individual comparisons but may not systematically reproduce the data.

9. Limitation of Liability

Meridian is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to relocation decisions, financial losses, or data inaccuracies.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be communicated via email.
